I don't know if many people know about this, but there is a website where you can help people that are starving by guessing words on the website. For every right answer you give, they donate 20 grains of rice and other things like salt, sugar and oil. They get the money to do this from the adds that you see on the bottom of each page. And the websites name is www.freerice.com
I just thought it was worth mentioning this as it can help many people in need.

It's amazing how fast people found out about this. I myself found out in early November, when the site was barely even a month old. It's a great cause, and a great way to improve my vocabulary testing scores!
I was wondering why they didn't send it if they had the resources, until I read the FAQ. It's funded by the ads that they show on the page, so each one you do, by having that ad load, you actually DO earn the rice.
I emalied the link to some of my friends and stuff. I donated about 2,000 grains today and feel a bit good about it. It's an awsome site and I hope more people answer the questions.
One of my friends told me about this site before. It even helps me to learn new words. Everybody wins with this site. Seriouly, awesome site, keep people helping the people who needs it.

I really don't get that... I've heard of the site before, and donated around 2000 grains I think. But why don't they just give it away rather than have people online work for it?
the money is generated from adds under the pages. So it's by having people go to the site that they get the money to by resources. The game is to make sure everyone benefits from it. You get knowledge and others get food suplies.

I've known about this for quite a while, I wish they had a log in feature so I can find out my rice I ahve accumulated over the weeks. It's a great idea, and it seems to be spreading quickly.

Regardless, Im going to try this. Thank god if you dont get it wrong they TAKE rice away.
